So I just moved and am currently looking for a job out here in LA. Until that happens, I’ve decided to open up commissions. :D
Most of the info is on the picture, but there are a few other things I wanted to say…
If you commission a traditional piece, you will get the original sent to you! If it’s digital, you’ll get a one-of-a-kind print! Both of these will be saved on my desktop, too.
I prefer to take payment up front, but if you want a bigger/more expensive piece, we can work a payment plan out.
I do any fandom or your own original characters! However, I won’t do anything super explicit (think NC-17 rated).
So, if you guys could please spread this around, I’d really appreciate it!!
Drop me a message here or on my email (email@example.com) if you’re interested in anything!!
Reblogging again! :3
Yeah so this is still happening.
Some character expressions. I’ve been drawing this kid a lot so I figure I may as well do something with him/her.
Also I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what sort of “style” I have. I used to be the sort of person who was very set on having a certain look because there were particular companies that I wanted to work for.
The problem was, striving for that type of style was a constant struggle, and it wasn’t even something that looked or felt genuine for me when I did it.
I kept thinking that if I want to make it in the types of creative industries I want to work for, I had to have some kind of “egdy” and “badass” look to my work.
But recently I’ve been embracing what comes naturally to me more, and I’ve been a lot happier with what I’m doing. I can still tell dark/serious/badass stories or whatever. The artwork is just… mine. It might be a little cuter than what necessarily suits my writer’s voice, but honestly I feel like that shows my personality a lot better than forcing something that doesn’t feel right.
